Gluconol Ultra: talking head ad for beauty and wellness
A daughter films her 64-year-old mother at the breakfast table, and the mother admits she called the supplement “un invento tuyo” (“something you made up”) before she started taking it every morning.
01
Brief
Gluconol Ultra is a food supplement; the bottle reads “Suplemento alimenticio” (“food supplement”). The closing card gives the offer in one line: “Gluconol Ultra · RD$2,190. Pago contra entrega.” (“Pay on delivery.”)
The ad runs in Spanish under the title “Se lo compré a mi mamá” (“I bought it for my mom”) and speaks to adult children who worry about a parent. It has to get past a parent's refusal, which the mother voices herself: “Yo tengo 64 años. A mí nadie me dice nada” (“I'm 64. Nobody tells me anything”). The last line hands the decision to the viewer: “Hazlo por ella” (“Do it for her”).
02
Format and style
A handheld talking head in a family kitchen with yellow walls, a lace valance over the window and a white fridge covered in magnets. The mother sits at a table with coffee, eggs and toast, her glasses pushed up into gray hair, and the daughter turns the camera on herself for her half of the story. White capital captions run a few words at a time with one word lit in cyan.
The mother voices the doubt and the daughter the reassurance, so the viewer hears both sides of a talk they may have had at home. I set AI supplement video ads like this one in a lived-in kitchen, with a mother who laughs at her own stubbornness, because a family buyer trusts a scene they know from their own house.

How it was made
I open on the mother at the table with the bottle beside her plate, and the daughter's voice comes from behind the camera: “Mami, cuéntales lo que me dijiste cuando te lo traje” (“Mami, tell them what you told me when I brought it to you”). She laughs and waves it off with “Que era un invento tuyo,” picks up the bottle for “Yo tengo 64 años,” and answers “¿Y ahora?” (“And now?”) with “Ahora yo misma me la tomo. Todas las mañanas” (“Now I take it myself. Every morning”). She lifts her coffee cup and adds “Me siento con más ánimo, con ganas de salir” (“I feel livelier, I feel like going out”).
The camera swings to the daughter in a selfie frame with her mother at the table behind her: “Yo no esperé a que fuera tarde” (“I didn't wait until it was too late”). She tells the order in three facts: she placed it on a Tuesday, “llegó el jueves” (“it arrived on Thursday”) and “Pagué cuando llegó” (“I paid when it arrived”). I cut to the mother for “Y ella se quedó tranquila” (“And she was at ease”) and close on the daughter with the price card and “Hazlo por ella.”
