Brief
Tallow Honey Balm comes in a small black jar with a bee on the label, and the nurse in this 144-second Meta Reels ad describes it as “a hundred percent grass-fed beef tallow” with raw honey and beeswax. She says tallow is “almost bioidentical to our skin” and contains “vitamins A, D, E, and K,” and she tells viewers to “tap below and give this one a try.”
It speaks to “a nurse, healthcare worker, or just anyone who's washing and sanitizing their hands all day long.” She says she has spent “hundreds of dollars on hand creams” that helped for “an hour, maybe two hours,” and the ad has to steer viewers past one more hand cream and toward the jar.

Format and style
A selfie testimonial from the driver's seat of a parked car: the phone sits low behind the steering wheel, daylight comes through the side window, and bare trees stand outside. The nurse looks to be in her fifties, with shoulder-length brown hair, light blue V-neck scrubs, a thin necklace and a gold ring.
The scrubs tell viewers what she does before she speaks, and her first line, “As nurses, we understand skin integrity better than most people,” says it out loud. Small clips of dry hands, a sanitizer dispenser and a sink pop up beside her as she talks, and I build AI beauty and wellness video ads like this one so the viewer sees each problem at the moment she names it.

How it was made
I open on her at the wheel with “As nurses, we understand skin integrity better than most people,” and a clip of two dry hands on a counter appears beside her on “cracked, irritated hands.” Close-ups of a ringed hand play while she describes hands “so dry and flaky” that “It was like dandruff on my hands.” A woman in a black beanie and a winter coat over scrubs holds up a reddened hand for “the winter is way worse,” and hands in scrubs squeeze a white tube of cream as she says the creams “were basically all the same.”
A sanitizer dispenser clip backs her turn to “the hand sanitizer stripping away the barrier,” then she raises the black jar to the lens under a highlighted search result that reads “Beef tallow is an effective, deeply occlusive moisturizer for severely dry, weather-beaten, or over-washed hands.” She opens the jar to show the pale balm, a green checklist fills in Vitamin A, D, E and K beside her, and she rubs the balm over the backs of her hands before spreading her fingers wide for “just look at my hands now.” Clips of a dispenser and a sink return for “washing and sanitizing their hands all day long,” she holds up two jars for “I bought two around three months ago” and a fingertip for “a pea-sized amount,” and I close the 144 seconds on the open jar and “tap below and give this one a try.”
