Format and style

A vertical vox pop on a sunny pedestrian mall: one interviewer with a black handheld mic, café awnings and palm trees, shoppers passing behind each respondent. Four strangers answer the same question on camera, and the handheld frame stays close so each face and each dollar figure lands.

The script runs on comparison. Viewers hear $680, $720, $590 and then $490, and the gap lands because the people look like shoppers stopped mid-errand. I build AI car loan video ads around that street texture: the crowd supplies the prices, and the brand arrives once the fourth answer breaks the pattern.

How it was made

I open on a wide shot of the interviewer walking up to a man in a singlet with “Excuse me, quick question, how much are you paying a month for your car loan?” He answers “680 dollars a month, it's killing me” and names a 2023 RAV4. I cut to a woman under a shop arcade paying $720 for a Hilux who went “with whatever the dealer offered”, then a young man on $590 who admits, “I don't even fully understand what I signed.”

The fourth respondent, a red-haired man in an olive shirt, says $490 for a RAV4, and the interviewer catches it: “The last person with a RAV4 is paying 680.” He walks through the AutoBuddy quiz, the pre-approval he carried into the dealership and the dealer coming back “with a better offer just to compete.” I close on the interviewer to camera saying “Links below” under a card that reads Free 60-Second Quiz, No impact on your credit score, with a Check My Rate button and autobuddy.com.au.
