Leevli: claymation ad for real estate
A stop-motion fable about bamboo: a real estate brand selling patience while every competitor sells urgency.
01
Brief
Leevli runs a real estate listing platform in a market where most ads push inventory and urgency. Act now, rates are moving, this one won't last.
A home is one of the longest decisions a person makes. The ad had to give the brand a story people remember across those months, with no listing and no offer in it.
02
Format and style
A short claymation fable: a father and son plant bamboo, nothing seems to happen for a long stretch, then the growth arrives overnight. I built the piece as the first episode of a series.
The clay look reads as slow, careful craft, which suits a story about patience. In a feed full of urgency, a quiet parable stops the thumb and gives the brand a worldview: the things worth having are the ones you trust to grow.
03
How it was made
I storyboarded the story as setup, quiet middle and sudden payoff, with the roots growing underground before any shoot breaks the soil. The script leaves out any listing, agent or offer and lets the father and son carry the idea.
I designed both characters as sculpted clay figures with the texture and soft lighting of stop-motion, and finished each shot frame by frame to keep that handmade movement consistent through the edit.
