Leevli street interview ad: The hallway is the truth
A resident's apartment-hunting rule: walk the hallway at 11 at night, because the unit always shows well.
01
Brief
Leevli is a real estate listing and rentals platform, and this 29-second Meta ad hands renters one piece of viewing advice from a resident, with no brand on screen or in the audio.
The audience is people touring apartments, addressed through a woman in a tan blazer on a brownstone street who says what she would change next time. The ad has to deliver a tip worth remembering at the next viewing in under half a minute.
02
Format and style
A street interview on a tree-lined block of brownstones with iron stoop railings. The host holds a black mic; the respondent stands composed in a tan blazer, cream top and black trousers, a crossbody bag at her side. White captions assemble at the lower middle of the frame, each new word flashing orange.
The script is one piece of advice that pays off in a line built to repeat, and a calm two-shot gives that line space to land. Her polished look lends the tip weight, which suits AI real estate video ads that trade on advice a renter can act on at an open house.

How it was made
I open on the host asking “What is one thing you would do differently?” and she answers with the rule: “I would walk the hallway at 11 at night.” His “Why the hallway?” sets up “Because the hallway tells you everything the unit hides,” and “Like what?” pulls the list: “Who is loud? Who cooks at midnight? Whose kid screams?”
I punch in to a tight profile of her mid-answer, then move between over-the-shoulder and wide frames as the list builds. The line comes twice, “The unit always shows well. The hallway is the truth,” and I end on the wide two-shot with the host's verdict: “That's a billboard line right there.”
